Pisaasu is an Indian Tamil-language ( Horror and Thriller ) film released in cinemas on 19 December 2014.
Siddharth Soundaarajan (Naga), a young man, is an aspirant violinist. He is always ready to help the needy people. One day, he witnesses the accident of a young girl (Prayaga Martin). He rushes the girl to a hospital with the help of an Auto Rikshaw driver. Unfortunately, the girl dies holding his hands.
Siddharth gets upset with the fact that he could not save the life of the girl. Gradually, he goes into depression. In the meantime, strange things start happening at Siddharth's home. Soon, Siddharth understands that there is a ghost in the house of Siddharth, who believes it is the ghost of the girl he could not save.
To overcome the problem, Siddharth somehow finds the father (Radha Ravi) of the dead girl and learns that the name of the girl is Bhavani. Siddharth discovers that the father has kept the dead body of his daughter in his ice factory. Siddharth requests the father to cremate his daughter to save him from her ghost. However, it is not as easy as Siddharth thinks because the ghost does everything to save her body.
The only way to get rid of the ghost seems to find the culprit who is responsible for the accidental death of Bhavani. Siddharth embarks on a mission to find the real culprit.
What happens next? Will Siddharth find the person responsible for the accidental death of Bhavani? Will he ever get rid of the ghost? The film Pisaasu gives replies to all such queries.
