Pride - Hindi Film 2024

Pride is Hindi -language ( Drama ) film released in cinemas on 26 July 2024.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a (UA) rating to the Hindi -language film Pride, vide certificate No. DIL/2/521/2022-MUM on 20 December 2022 . The runtime of the film is 125 Minutes and 31 Seconds.

Movie Plot

Nandini has a dream of being a doctor since childhood. She does exceptionally well in academics and even secured a good rank in medical entrance. Despite she did not get admission to any government medical college.

While Nandini is depressed, Aditya, a friend of Nandini who is very close to her, gets admission to a Law College and goes far from her.

Frustrated, Nandini yells at the local MLA, Veer Pratap Singh, in front of a crowd that hurts the ego of the MLA. Veer Pratap uses his influence to get Nandini admission to a medical college. However, Veer Pratap wants a physical relationship with Nandini in return for his favour.

Veer Pratap tries to woo Nandini but badly fails to do so. Moreover, Nandini insults him in front of many people. It enrages Veer Pratap and his goons forcefully abduct Nandini after killing her parents in the night.

Nandini somehow escapes, and William, a kind-hearted man who runs an NGO, helps Nandini. He sends her to Germany for medical studies. In the meantime, the goons inform Veer Pratap that Nandini has died.

After 18 years

Nandini is now a famous doctor and returns to India at the request of Dr. Gupta to perform the surgery of the then MLA, now the Health Minister, Veer Pratap. Veer Pratap dies during the operation, and the police think it is a preplanned murder.

Nandini and her team, including Dr Gupta, became the prime accused of the alleged murder of Veer Pratap. The trial begins, and the judge turns out to be Aditya, her close friend.

Was it a murder or a natural death? If murder, was it a preplanned murder by Nandini? If not, who is the killer, and what is the motive? Will Aditya favour Nandini? The film Pride narrates the rest of the drama.
