Plot Summary of Punjabi Film Rab Di Mehhar (2023)

Movie Plot

Ravdeep alias Rab (Ajay Sarkaria) meets a pretty girl, Mehhar (Kashish Rai), in a Gurudwara. Ravdeep and Mehhar soon fall in love with each other.

Later, Ravdeep learns that Mehhar belongs to a Muslim community. Devastated, Rab fails to understand how to handle the situation and struggles with the challenges of interfaith marriage.

Eventually, Rab chooses to marry Mehhar, but the situation takes a U-turn when Iqbal (Dheeraj Kumar), the brother of Mehar, comes into the story and refuses to accept the marriage proposal.

Rab prefers to stand out against all odds to marry Mehhar. However, an intercaste marriage is a hard nut to crack. In the meantime, another twist in the story awaits their fate.
