Run Baby Run is a Tamil language Thriller film released theatrically on 3rd February 2023. The film started streaming on the OTT platform Disney+hotstar on 10th March 2023, in Tamil and Hindi dubbed versions. The film's running time is 132 Minutes (2 Hours 12 Minutes).

Movie plot

Sathya (RJ Balaji) is a young man who works as a bank employee, and Priyanka (Isha Talwar is his fiancee. Sathya works far from his house and thus returns to his home after every two weeks to meet his mother (Radhika Sarathkumar) in a wheelchair.

One day he buys a gift for Priyanka from a jewelry shop, keeps it in his car, and goes ahead with his fiancee. On the way, Sathya sees an afraid girl Thara (Aishwarya Rajesh, who is trying to hide her in the back seat.

Thara requests with folded hands to keep quiet. Sathya remains silent since his fiance is with her. While dropping Priyanka off, Sathya meets her father (Nagineedu), who requests to lend his car for the day and accompanies Sathya.

Since Priyanka's father sits in the car, Thara keeps hiding her from him. After dropping Sathya off, his would-be father-in-law drives the car away. Sathya is fearsome to the girl in the car, but Thara somehow gets down from the car hiding from Priyanka's father.

Thara seeks help from Sathya, who does not wish to create any problems for him. He thus straightforwardly refuses to help Thara. However, Sathya melts down after repeated requests from Thara and allows her to charge her phone inside his house.

After charging the phone, Thara calls her guardian and tells Sathya that her guardian will come within an hour. She seeks permission to stay with him for an hour. Sathya reluctantly allows her to stay in the guest room.

Shocking twist in the story

Sathya goes to deep sleep for unknown reasons and gets up in the morning. However, he finds the dead body of Thara in his house. Moreover, at the same time, Priyanka's father visits to return his car.

Another shock for Sathya

While Sathya's would-be father is inside his house, a police team knocks on the door. The team has come to investigate a complaint from an unknown person. Constable Jai (Vivek Prasanna) is also a part of the police team and is a good friend of Sathya.

Jai saves Satya by lying to senior officers but wants Satya to dispose of the body. Sathya hesitantly accepts to dispose of the dead body. He puts the body in a suitcase and puts it in his car, and sets out in search of the right place where he can dispose of the body. However, his bad luck seems after him, his car crashes midway, and the mechanic needs time to repair the same.

Sathya hires a sharing car and starts the journey with four more passengers. Bad luck still follows him, and this time a police team stops the vehicle for using it commercially without completing the requisite formalities. All passengers, including Sathya, take a bus, but Sathya deliberately leaves the suitcase in the car.

After some time, Sathya sees the same car overtaking his bus, and he follows the car. The driver of the car finds the suitcase and the dead body. The driver becomes afraid, takes the dead body to the nearest cremation ground, and burns it secretly.

Sathya takes a sigh of relief and visits to meet his mother. However, the next day police find the completely burn dead body. When police try to question the driver, he commits suicide.

Some more twists and turns

While Sathya is puzzled, he receives one more shock. Priyanka's father visits his house, shows some photographs of Sathya and Thara together, and breaks up his marriage with Priyanka.

Sathya now decides to solve the mystery despite threatening calls and attacks on him. Who is the culprit? Who is Thara, and how is she connected with the story? How will Sathya reach the mastermind of the mystery? The film Run Baby Run gives replies to all such queries.
