Sadaa Suhagan (meaning: Perennially Married Woman) is a Hindi (Bollywood) Family Drama film released on 15 August 1986. The film became the 8th Highest Grossing Hindi Movie in 1986.
Sadaa Suhagan is a remake of the Tamil movie Dheerga Sumangali (1974), which was also remade in Telugu as Dheerga Sumangali (1974), in Kannada as Bhagyavantharu (1974) and in Malayalam as Aayiram Janmangal (1976).
T. Rama Rao is the Screenplay Writer and Director, whereas Vijay Soorma and Rajeev Kumar are the Producers of Sadaa Suhagan.

Raj Shekhar (Jeetendra), an advocate, goes to a village to see his would-be bride, Laxmi (Rekha), who lives with her father (Utpal Dutt), maternal aunt-cum-step mother (Shubha Khote), and a mentally challenged step brother Chhotu (Jr. Mehmood).
Laxmi's father is a drunkard, and her maternal aunt is greedy for money. However, Laxmi is unaware of the selfishness of her stepmother. Raj Shekhar does not like the drunkard father of Laxmi but gets impressed with Laxmi, and they get married soon.
Laxmi becomes a caring wife, and Raj becomes an equally loving and faithful husband. They have two sons, Ravi and Shashi, and a daughter Babli. Raj is very disciplined and nurtures his children with the same principle.
Raj and Laxmi are living happily with their grown-up children Ravi (Govinda), Shashi (Alankar Joshi), and Babli (Sheela Sharma nee David). Raj has a close advocate friend Vinod (Shafi Inamdar), who lives with his wife, Sujata (Aruna Irani), and a grown-up son, Deepak (Sunil Dhawan). Raj and Vinod wish to marry their children Babli and Deepak.
At a party, Raj witnesses Ravi (Govinda) dancing with his love interest Madhu (Anuradha Patel), the daughter of an ill-repute woman in the eyes of Raj Shekhar. Ravi leaves home when his father is not ready to accept his love interest and abuses, Madhu. Ravi later marries Madhu.
The younger son Shashi steals money from his father and blames Keshav (Mohan Choti), the domestic help. However, Raj Shekhar learns the truth, and Shashi leaves the house too.
Babli (Sheela Sharma) refuses to marry Deepak or anybody else because she believes her mother is living a miserable life with her father, and thus she does not wish to ruin her life.
Raj Shekhar develops a heart problem and visits his family doctor (Vikas Anand) with Laxmi. However, Laxmi becomes unconscious while the doctor is examining Raj.
The doctor also starts treatment of Laxmi but realizes that she has an advanced stage of cancer and a few days remain of her life. Raj Shekhar does not tell the truth to Laxmi but tries to give her the best possible happiness. However, how can a mother become happy without her entire family?
