Plot Summary of Hindi Film Samrat Prithviraj (2022)

Samrat Prithviraj (2022) is a Historical Bollywood Film scheduled to be released on 21 January 2022. However, the makers postponed the release avid increasing Covid-19 cases. The film was released worldwide theatrically on is 3 June 2022.

The movie is produced by Aditya Chopra and written & directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Samrat Prithviraj (2022) stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, and debutant actress Manushi Chhillar.

Movie Plot

The movie depicts the story of 12th Century King Prithviraj Chauhan (Akshay Kumar) and his third wife Samyukta (Manushi Chillar) who is also known as Sanyogita. Chauhan was a legendary valiant King who defeated Muhammad Gauri the Sultan of the Ghurid Empire not only in the first battle of Tarain but also 15 more times out of total of 17 attacks made by Gauri. In the last attack, Gauri was supported by Jaichand, the father of Sanyogita, and Chauhan was defeated in the war and made blind.
