Srijit Mukherji has directed the film. Initially, Raees fame Rahul Dholakiya was assigned the directed for the film. However, due to dates issue he was replaced by Mukherji. Priya Aven has written the screenplay of the film and has made her bollywood debut as Writer. She earlier worked as Associate Producer in LSD: Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010) and Ragini MMS (2011)
Movie Plot
The film is a Biopic of Indian woman's Nationa Cricket Team captain Mithali Raj. Taapsee Pannu is portraying the titular character. Vijay Raaz is playing a pivotal role.
