Shivalinga is an Indian Tamil-language ( Horror , Mystery Thriller ,and Supernatural Thriller ) film released in cinemas on 14 April 2017.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued an (U) rating to the Tamil-language film Shivalinga, vide certificate No. DIL/1/14/2017-CHE on 20 January 2017 . The runtime of the film is 156 Minutes and 22 Seconds.
While travelling by train, Raheem (Shakthi Vasudevan) tries to save a blind man from falling off the train. However, the blind man turns out to be an assassin and kills Raheem.
The primary investigation suggests it is a suicide. However, Sangeetha (Saipriya Deva) strongly believes that Raheem has no reason to kill himself. Sangeetha seeks an independent investigation. Shivalingeswaran alias Shiva (Raghava Lawrence), an honest and brave CID officer, takes charge of the case.
Soon after Shiva takes charge, his wife, Satyabhama alias Sathya (Ritika Singh), starts behaving strangely, like cooking food she does not know how to cook. Soon, Shiva realizes that an evil spirit has taken control of Sathya.
What Shiva uncovers next will change everything.
