Sita - Telugu Film 2019

Sita is Telugu -language ( Drama and Romance ) film released in cinemas on 24 May 2019.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a (UA) rating to the Telugu -language film Sita, vide certificate No. DIL/2/64/2019-HYD on 15 May 2019 . The runtime of the film is 161 Minutes and 2022 Seconds.

Movie Plot

Anand Mohan (K. Bhagyraj) leaves his four-year-old boy Raghuram in a monastery and promises that Sita will come to take care of him. The young kid Ram also promises to take care of Sita in return.

A few years later

Grown-up Sita Mahalakshmi (Kajal Aggarwal) is a successful businesswoman who manipulates people for her benefit. She is highly ambitious but arrogant and selfish too.

Sita purchases a slum land to build a mall but fails to evacuate the slum. MLA Basavaraj (Sonu Sood), a married man, offers help to vacate the slum but asks her to marry him in return.

When Sita refuses the marriage proposal, Basavaraj asks her to stay with him in a live-in relationship for a month after he evacuates the slum. Sita agrees to the deal to get her work done. However, she refuses to honor the agreement when Basavaraj removes the slum.

Basavaraju gets devastated, wants to ruin Sita, and by all means, tries everything to stop the mall construction. Consequently, Sita has to repay the loans immediately and is in dire need of money now.

Twist in the story

In the meantime, Sita learns that her estranged father, Anand Mohan (K. Bhagyaraj), has expired. She plans to inherit his father's properties worth 5000 Crore INR. However, she gets shocked when she learns that her father has transferred the entire inheritance in favor of Ram (Bellamkonda Sreenivas) and has left only a Mangalsutra [An auspicious thread for Indian bride]. Grown-up Ram is the same four-year boy who is eagerly waiting for Sita.

Sita travels to Bhutan with her friend Chakram (Abhinav Gomatam), and Personal Assitant, Rupa (Mannara Chopra).

Ram is an intelligent young man with a kind heart and loves Sita deeply. He always remembers the promise made to his uncle that he must take care of Sita.

Sita wants her properties back and asks Ram to accompany her to India to sign and hand over the properties. Since the monastery does not allow Ram to go outside, she asks Ram to accompany her without informing the monastery.

Innocent Ram always bears the irritating Sita for his love without knowing that she is doing everything for the properties and has no interest in him.

On the other hand, MLA Basava plans to arrest Sita in a forgery case with the help of the local police. She somehow manages to escape with Ram, Chakram, and Rupa. She makes Ram an emotional fool, takes his sign on the property papers, and rushes to the bank to withdraw the money. However, the bank refuses to authorize the transfer and demands proof that Ram is her husband.

What will Sita do now? Who is Ram? What is the connection between Ram and the estranged father of Sita? Why Sita's father transferred entire properties in favor of Ram? What does Ram do when he learns Sita is making her a fool? Film Ram Sita gives replies to all such queries.
