James, also known as JJ 88, goes to prison at the age of fifteen. He kills someone. Just three days later, his own brother dies. The court gives him a double life sentence. He spends years alone in a prison cell.
While living in that small space, James begins to write songs. He writes about pain, loss, and memories. He turns his feelings into music. He dreams, he remembers, and he tries to understand himself.
A filmmaker named Contessa Gayles works with him. Together, they create a visual album. It tells his story through songs and powerful images.
