Tej I Love You - Telugu Film 2018

Tej I Love You is an Indian Telugu -language ( Drama and Romance ) film released in cinemas on 06 July 2018.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued an (U) rating to the Telugu -language film Tej I Love You, vide certificate No. DIL/1/22/2018-HYD on 04 July 2018 . The runtime of the film is 144 Minutes and 55 Seconds.

Movie Plot

While returning home, the car of Laxmi (Bhavana Samanthula) breaks down at a remote place. She calls her husband (Anish Kuruvilla), who asks her to take a local train from the nearest station.

Tej, a 10-yeas boy from a nearby village, approaches the woman and offers to drop the woman at the nearest station on his cycle. Tej informs Laxmi that he lives in a loveable joint family with his Uncle (Jayaprakash), Aunt (Pavitra Lokesh), and many other relatives.

Meanwhile, two men try to molest the woman taking advantage of the remote place. Tej hits one of the men with a big rock and asks Laxmi to run toward the railway station. The man dies, and the other man escapes.

Laxmi has to leave for London the next day, but she is concerned about the boy because he might get punished for the unintentional crime. She plans to cancel her trip to visit the village and testify in favour of Tej.

However, her husband (Anish Kuruvilla) assures her that he will visit the village, help Tej with a cheque, and tells the truth. The woman leaves for London, but her husband does not keep his promises.

Tej receives seven-year of punishment for the unintentional crime. Uncle (Jayaprakash) is concerned about Tej, but coach Murthy (Banerjee) assures him that he will take care of Tej. After seven years, Tej joins his family again and starts living happily.

After a few years

Tej (Sai Dharam Tej) is now a grown-up young man. All the family members love him very much. Tej helps Shweta, the daughter of his Uncle (Chacha), whose marriage is fixed with her childhood lover Ajay (Karthik Adusumalli), to elope with her boyfriend on a day before her marriage. Uncle (Jayaprakash) asks him to leave the house forever. Tej start living with his musician Uncle (Prudhvi Raj) and Aunt Sudha (Surekha Vani).

Twist in the story

A pretty girl, Nandini (Anupama Parameswaran), comes to the city and wants to meet  Murthy (Banerjee), who is not in the city. Thus Nandini has to stay there for a few days.

While coming to the city, Nandini meets Tej, who falls for her in the first meeting. Nandini gets involved in a minor accident, and the judge orders her to serve Old Age Home for 15 days. Nandini plays a trick and compels Tej to do work for her for the next fifteen days. In the meantime, she comes closer to Tej and falls for him.

Nandini decides to express her feelings to Tej, but as luck would have it, she meets an accident and forgets the days spent with Tej. However, she remembers her father (Anish Kuruvilla).

The Backstory of Nandini

Tej killed a man to help Laxmi (Bhavana Samanthula) in childhood and served seven years of imprisonment. When Laxmi returns from London, she finds that her husband (Anish Kuruvilla) has never met with Tej or his family, and Tej receives a seven-year punishment. Nandini is the daughter of Laxmi, who feels guilty about the imprisonment of Tej.

Laxmi transfers a piece of land in the name of her daughter Nandini (Anupama Parameswaran). As her last wish, Laxmi asks Nandini to find Tej and hands over the property papers to him. Laxmi dies, and Nandini visits India to find Tej, the child who helped her mother.

Nandini has lost her memories of Tej. She will recall her memories and realize that Tej is the man who helped her mother. What will happen to the relationship between Tej and Nandini? The film Supreme Khiladi 2 gives replies to all such queries.
