Movie Plot
Babu (Nani) is a happy-go-lucky college-going man who lives with his home-ridden father (Posani Krishna Murali) and working mother (Easwari Rao). He does not take his life seriously and spends most of his time with his friends.
Babu is pursuing his Engineering Graduation. However, he can not clear the exams and appears in supplementary examinations.
The college exam supervisor (Sachin Khedkar) gets frustrated to see Babu appearing in every supplementary examination. The examiner finally helps Babu pass his graduation by unethical means.
A delightful twist in the story
One day, a pretty girl. Keerty (Keerthi Suresh), slaps Babu, assuming he is someone else who used to tease her friend. Babu falls in love with Keerthy at first sight. He learns that Keerthy is a student at an MBA college. Babu also gets admission for MBA in the same college and starts roaming around Keerthy.
Keerthy is the daughter of the same examination supervisor (Sachin Khedkar) who helped Babu pass his graduation by cheating.
Keerthy informs her father about Babu. But she assures her father that she has no feelings for Babu and will marry the boy of her father's choice.
Turning point of the story
Keerthy has a friend, Puddu and loves someone (Vennela Kishore). However, she wants to commit suicide on the day of her lover's marriage. Babu learns about the love story and abducts Paddu's lover from the wedding ceremony. It enrages the bride's father (Rao Ramesh), who seeks revenge.
However, Keerthy falls for Babu after he helps her friend Paddu reunite with her lover. But Babu's happiness is short-lived when Siddhart Varma alias Siddhu (Naveen Chandra), a Sub-Inspector of the Police, enters the story and informs him that he will marry Keerthy.
The Backstory of Siddharth Varma
Siddhu visited Keerthy's father with the marriage proposal four years ago. However, at that time, Siddharth had nothing to impress Keerthy's father. Siddharth promised to return after having a good job, and he returned after four years, after becoming a police officer.
Keerthy's father fixes the marriage of Keerthy and Siddhu in the next 26 days. However, Keerthy wants Babu to impress her father before the wedding day so that her father himself asks her to marry Babu.
The final deadly twist
Keerthy's mother (Tulasi) supports Babu, but he fails to impress Keerthy's father, and the wedding day arrives.
On the wedding day, the bride's father (Rao Ramesh) [Paddu's fiance's ex-father-in-law] visits with guns and goons and wants to kill Keerthy's would-be husband. Both Babu and Siddhu are at the wedding venue. However, whoever claims to be the husband of Keerthy will be shot dead.
What happens next is the rest of the story of the film Nenu Local.
