Movie Plot

An old Muslim, Meeran (Shangili Murugan), visits a town from Chennai to find his son, Sameer. While searching for his son, Meeran gets fainted. Vetri (Vimal), a YouTuber, makes him conscious and learns about his missing son.

Vetri gives a supporting hand to Meeran and helps him by spreading the news about missing Sameer through his YouTube Channel, named 'Kothu Parotta,' which he runs with his friend (Sathish Muthukrishnan).

A parallel story

In a parallel story, police find a car parked in a no-traffic area. The car belongs to the Inspector General (IG), Devaraj, and his daughter is found dead inside it.

Police registered a case of an accident. However, it reveals that it is a pre-planned murder. IG asks Inspector Soundarajan to investigate the case secretly.

Self detective

After Vetri uploads a video about missing Sameer, he attracts antisocial elements, and eventually, he has to escape to save his life.

Vetri now decides to find the truth behind the missing case of Sameer with the help of his friend (Sathish Muthukrishnan). Soon, they find a connection between the missing case of Sameer and the murder case of the daughter of the IG.

What is the connection between the two cases? Who is the killer of the daughter of the IG? Is Sameer alive or not? The film Thudikkum Karangal gives replies to all such queries.
