Movie PlotVara Prasad (Anuragh), a brat, lives in the village of Kothapelli in Andhra Pradesh with his mother, Lakshmi (Thulasi). Vara's father (Shivannarayana) works and stays in Dubai. Lakshmi fears about his wayward son, who spends money in pubs and bars, taking alcohol and drugs with his friends. Vara even breaks household items if his mother refuses to give him money. Vara also teases girls and asks them to profess their love for him, and gets into brawls after conning others. Dosakayala Palli is the village next to Kothapelli. These two villages are always at loggerheads with each other. Vara meets Uma (Avika Gor), a pretty girl from Dosakayala, and compels her to profess her love for Vara. On the other hand, Uma gradually falls in love with Vara. Rudra (Srinivas) is the elder brother of Uma. He kidnaps a girl whom Uma was marrying for his friend. Uma witnesses this and asks his brother to leave the girl. It enrages Rudra, and when he learns about Vara, he becomes angry and against the collaboration of his sister, Uma, and Vara. However, the couple absconds with their homes and eventually get married. Now, Rudra is after Vara to kill him. What happens next? The film Umapathi narrates the rest of the story. |
