Vidhaata (1982) is a Bollywood Drama Movie released on 3 December, 1982. The movie was produced and Gulshan Rai and directed by the Showman Subhash Ghai. The movie was a Blockbuster and became the Highest Grossing Bollywood Movie in the year 1982. The movie was remade in Tamil, Malyalam and Kannada as Vamsa Vilakku, Alakadlinakkare and Pithamaha, respectively. Movie Plot: Pratap Singh (Suresh Oberoi), an honest Police Officer, lives happily with his wife and father Shamsher Singh (Dilip Kumar), who is working as Rail Driver and befriend with his counterpart Gurbaksh Singh (Shammi Kapoor). Pratap is killed by Jagawar Choudhary (Amrish Puri), a local smuggler and in revenge Shamsher killed some goons of Jagawar but gets arrested before he can kill Jagawar. In the meantime Pratap’s wife dies after giving birth to a Boy Child named Kunal Singh (Sanjay Dutt). Shamsher manages to escape from Police and takes Kunal with him. To earn money Shamsher starts working with an underworld don Mirzya (Sreeraam Lagoo). Kunal is grown young under the supervision of Abu Baba (Sanjeev Kumar) who is loyal to Shamsher and falls in love with a poor girl Durga (Padmini Kolhapure). However, Shamsher disallow their alliance.
