Cobalt Blue is a Hindi (Bollywood) Drama Romance Film released on 3 December 2021 directly on the OTT Platform Netflix.

The film is based on Sachin Kundalkar's novel of the same name. The book was originally published in Marathi in 2006. The English version of the book came into existence in May 2013.

Sachin Kundalkar, who had written the novel Cobalt Blue, is also the Writer and Director of the film.

Priya Sreedharan, Wasim Khan, and Zulfaquar Torabi have jointly produced Cobalt Blue. Vincenzo Condorelli is the Cinematographer.

Prateik Babbar, Anant Joshi, and Anjali Sivaraman have played the lead roles in the film.

Neil Bhoopalam, Shishir Sharma, and Geetanjali Kulkarni have played pivotal roles in the film.

Movie Plot

Aseem (Anant Joshi) lives happily with his family consist of his Father (Shishir Sharma), his Mother (Geetanjali Kulkarni), and his Sister Anuja (Anjali Sivaraman).

A room on the first floor, at their residence, is lying vacant. Anant wants the same for him. However, his parents want to the room for a Paying Guest.

Prateik Babbar visits there and starts living as their Paying Guest. Aseem soon develops feelings for Prateik Babbar. However, what Aseem does not know is that Anuja has also developed feelings for Prateik.

What happens when Aseem comes to know that Anuja and Prateik have eloped?  The rest of the story tells about human emotions and the way Aseem responds to the situation.
