Movie Plot

Amar (Sanjay Dutt) is the heir to a princely estate in India. He lives in a foreign country for his studies.

Amar's father has already died, and his stepmother, Rani Maa (Bindu), takes care of his property and estate with the help of Diwan Jee (Ramesh Deo), with whom she shares an illicit relationship after the death of her husband.

Rani Maa and Diwan are cruel towards their employees and do not give them their rights. On the contrary, Amar's grandmother (Urmila Bhatt) is a generous old lady but can not resist the atrocity of her Daughter-in-law (Bindu).

Rani Maa has a grown-up daughter Pinki (Shraddha Verma), who wants to be an actress. Dharti Prasad (Shakti Kapoor) is the drunkard brother of Rani Maa and supports every unethical act of his sister.

The grandmother knows about the illicit relationship between Diwan and Rani Maa, but she is helpless and desperately waiting for Amar to come and teach a lesson to everyone. Soon she receives a telegram that Amar is returning after completing his studies.

Since Amar is the legal heir of the family, Rani Maa, with the help of Dharti Prasad and Diwan, sends goons to kill Amar. However, a village girl Bijli (Anita Raj), helps Amar to chase away the goons. Later Bijli and Amar fall in love with each other.

Twist in the story

Diwan has a grown-up son (Gulshan Grover). Diwan prepares a plan to grab the properties of Rani Maa and presents his son as Prakash Desai, a Film Director. Since Pinki (Shraddha Verma) wants to be an actress, she falls into Prakash's traps. Pinki also falls in love with Prakash, but Amar does not like Prakash.

Pinki absconds with Prakash (Gulshan Grover). However, Amar beats Prakash and brings Pinki back home. It enrages Rani Maa because she does not want Amar to interfere in their life. On the other hand, Amar decides to take charge of the entire business and properties.

Rani Maa (Bindu), Diwan (Ramesh Deo), Prakash (Gulshan Grover), and Dharti Prasad (Shakti Kapoor) plan to kill Amar. They place a time bomb in the car of Amar, and Amar dies in the blast.

The biggest twist in the story

After some time, differences arise between Rani Maa and Dhartiprasad, and he becomes homeless. Dharti Prasad witnesses a fight between Jaggu Dada (Raza Murad) and a convict Amru Dada (Sanjay Dutt in a dual role), a look-alike of Amar. Dharti Prasad meets Amru and plans to grab the money and properties from her sister.

Amru presents him as Amar, but Rani Maa is not ready to accept him as Amar. A Police Officer (Jagdish Raj) interferes in the matter, but all the evidence shows Amru and Amar are the same.

No one knows that Amru has an agenda and has no intention of sharing any of his new-found wealth and status with anyone. On the other hand, Rani Maa hires Jaggu Dada (Raza Murad) to kill Amru.
