Salaar - Telugu Film 2023

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued an (A) rating to the Telugu-language film Salaar, vide certificate No. DIL/3/50/2023-HYD on 20 December 2023 . The runtime of the film is 176 Minutes and 44 Seconds.

Movie Plot

Two children, Devaratha alias Deva and Vardharaja alias Vardha are close friends. They live in the Khansaar city and share a deep bond.

Vardha has a strained relationship with his father, Raja Mannar (Jagapathi Babu), and step-brother, Rudra (Ramachandra Raju). The circumstances make the two friends separated.

After twenty-five years, the grown-up Deva (Prabhas) lives with his mother, Tinsukia (Easwari Rao), with a shadowy past. A newcomer, Aadhya (Shruti Haasan), arrives in the village, and Deva falls for her.

A twist in the story

The peaceful life of Deva gets disrupted when some goons visit the village searching for Aadhya. Deva hunts for the man who sent the goons for Aadhya. He is shocked to know the man behind the hunt for Aardhya is Vardha (Prithviraj Sukumaran), his childhood friend from Khansaar city.

One more surprise

For the past 25 years, Raja Mannar has held power over all the different rulers of Khansaar. The power struggle turns ugly, prompting Vardha to seek Deva's help.
