30 Minutes is an Indian Hindi-language Psychological-Thriller film released on December 9, 2016.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a UA rating to the Hindi-language film 30 Minutes, vide certificate No. DIL-2-3-2016-DEL dated April 4, 2016. The runtime of the film is 111 Minutes and 55 Seconds.
Hiten Paintal plays the lead role in the film 30 Minutes. The film also features Paintal, Hrishitaa Bhatt, Hemant Pandey, Mukesh Bhatt, Rana Jung Bahadur, Shiva Kumar, and many others.
Young Shashank lives with his drunkard father (Paintal), who tortures and beats him violently, even for small and unimportant tasks.
Once, Shashank goes to buy liquor for his father. His father gives him a time of 30 Minutes to complete the task. When Shashank fails to return within the stipulated time, his father beats him badly.
As time passes, grown-up Shashank (Hiten Paintal) becomes a psychopath. Whenever he witnesses anyone torturing someone else, he becomes violent.
Moreover, when he hears the time phrase of 30 minutes, he gets out of his senses and kills the person who talks about 30 minutes time frame.
Normal-looking Shashank joins an advertisement company and meets Shivangi (Hrishitaa Bhatt). Both fall in love and eventually decide to marry.
On the day of one of the pre-wedding ceremonies, Shashank fails to reach the destination due to compelling circumstances. Shivangi becomes angry and breaks up with Shashank over the phone.
Shashank meets her and tries to make her understand. Shivangi is not ready to hear anything and wants to go on her scooty. Unfortunately, she gets imbalanced, falls from the scooty, and dies.
However, Shashank is shocked to know that Shivangi has a twin sister, Shilpa (Hrishitaa Bhatt in a dual role). Soon, Shashank falls for Shilpa, who dislikes him.
In the meantime, bad childhood experiences cause psychopath problems for Shashank, and he starts killing people for no reason.
Police Inspector Shukla (Hemant Pandey) is the investigating office. He suspects Shashank and eventually discovers the truth about him. On the other hand, Shashank, tired and desperate to get over his childhood nightmares, plan a thrilling and dangerous game, "30 Minutes."
