Charas (1976) was the third collaboration of Dharmendra and Ramanand Sagar who Produced and Directed the movie. Their earlier collaborations were Ankhen (1968) and Lalkar (1972). Suraj returns India with his Father and finds that his most of the properties have been sold by the caretaker Kalicharan (Ajit) and the remaining properties are being used for smuglling of drugs and other illegal activities. Suraj is now supports police to catch Kalicharan with the help of Sudha (Hema Malini) who is a dancer and stage performer and is being blackmailed by Kalicharan for a murder which was not committed by her. |
