Pepper Chicken - Hindi Film 2020

Pepper Chicken is a Hindi Thriller film released theatrically on 6 November 2020. Shemaroo uploaded the movie on their YouTube channel on 28 September 2021.

Ratan Sil Sarma is the Director, Film Editor, and one of the Writers of  Pepper Chicken. Dhanjit Das and Satish Yadav are the other Writers.

K. Zaman is the Producer, Rahul Dev Nath is the Music Director, Parag Priyam Nath is the Background Scorer, and Papu Deka is the Cinematographer of Pepper Chicken.

Cast

Dipannita Sharma and Boloram Das play the lead characters in Pepper Chicken. The film also features Baharul Islam, Jeet Baruah, Monuj Borkotoky, Nripen Bora, Podmaraag Goswami, Rajesh Nath, Rajib Borthakumr, Ranjita Bouruah, Ravi Sharma, and Satish Yadav. 

Movie Plot

Vaidehi (Dipannita Sharma) works as a Radio Jockey (RJ), where she often recites such stories that grab the immediate attention of listeners.

Vaidehi is an easy-going girl and a successful person at the workplace, but now is the time to decorate her personal life. She has decided to marry her long-time faience Raman (Ravi Sharma).

The marriage day is approaching fast, and Vaidehi needs to leave her job because Raman does not want her to continue as an RJ after marriage. However, no alternative for Vaidehi is available even the day before her wedding.

Vaidehi hosts her last show on the radio and leaves the office in a cab. Since she has to take a long journey, she reads a poem book.

The cab driver Dashamesh (Boloram Das), gets very interested to hear what she is reading and then recites to her the same poem, and impresses Vaidehi.

Vaidehi and Dashamesh start conversion, and Vaidehi learns that Dashamesh has read many books. She praises him for his choice of books and asks him to stop somewhere for food. Dashamesh stops the car at the nearest Dhaba (a small restaurant on the highway). After having a cup of copy and snacks, they start the journey again. In the meantime, some goons follow them but flee when the cab driver shows audacity to stand in front of them with an iron rod.

The journey starts again, and after some time, they see a police picket. The police officer (Baharul Islam) asks Dashamesh to get down and snatches his money.

The journey begins again, and Vaidehi finds another hurdle when Dashamesh tells her the road is closed. He asks Vaidehi if he can take an alternative route. Vaidehi nods because she has no option left.

After a while, the car breaks down, and both Vedehi and Dhashamesh are now in the mid of a forest. They start fiding for help and see a big house in the jungle. Suddenly Dashamesh goes missing, and Vedehil has to enter the house.

There is no one in the abandoned house. Vaidehi finds some books and a photo album. She opens the album and is shocked to see the pictures of the driver in the album. Before Vaidehi can understand anything, Dashamesh enters the house. What happens next is the rest of the story of Pepper Chicken.

Is there any connection between the house and the cab driver? Will the RJ be able to escape the house? Is it a plan of the driver or something else? What happens through the entire night? Film Pepper Chicken gives replies to all such queries.
