Spy is a Telugu-language Suspense-Thriller film released in cinemas on 29 June 2023 in cinemas. Spy is a PAN India project and will also be available in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Nikhil Siddharth and Iswarya Menon play the male and female leads, whereas Aryan Rajesh plays a pivotal role in Spy.
The film also features Abhinav Gomatam, Dayanand Reddy, Makrand Deshpande, Nitin Mehta, Robert Laenen, and Sanya Thakur.
The second world war was over in 1945, and India was still under British rule. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the leader of the Indian National Army, disappeared.
The British government claims that he died in a plane crash, but many people believed that Netaji had faked his death to continue fighting for India's independence.
Jai (Nikhil Siddharth) is a young Spy who believes that Bose is still alive. The Indian government recruits him to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of Netaji. Jai is a brilliant investigator, but he is also a patriot who is deeply committed to India's freedom.
Jai travels across India, Japan, and Europe and meets with various people, including Bose's former comrades, British intelligence agents, and even Japanese war criminals. He also interviewed witnesses and searched for evidence. Along the way, the Spy encounters several obstacles and challenges.
As Jai gets closer to the truth, he finds himself in danger. The British government threatens the Spy because they do not want the truth about Bose's death to come out. A group of assassins, who are working for the British, also hunt for him.
Jai must use his skills and courage to uncover the truth about Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's death. In the process, he will learn more about India's freedom struggle and the forces that were behind it.
