Stree 2 is an Indian Hindi-language ( Black Comedy and Horror ) film released in cinemas on 15 August 2024.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a (UA) rating to the Hindi-language film Stree 2, vide certificate No. DIL/2/346/2024-MUM on 08 August 2024 . The runtime of the film is 149 Minutes and 29 Seconds.
The film is a sequel to the 2018 Hindi Horror Comedy film Stree featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. Film Stree 2 is a part of the Horror-Cinematic Universe. Earlier films of the franchise were Stree (2018), Roohi (2021), and Bhediya (2022).
After the Stree (Shraddha Kapoor) leaves Chanderi, men in the village leave fearlessly and happily. However, the enjoyment of the people is short-lived when girls start disappearing from Chanderi.
Initially, the villagers assumed that the missing girls were modern enough not to be accommodated in the village and thus left for the city areas. But when Chitti (Anya Singh), the girlfriend of Bittu (Aparshakti Khurana), goes missing, the villagers understand that it is Sarkata, a demon without a head (Sunil Kumar).
Vicky (Rajkumar Rao), Rudra (Pankaj Tripathi), and Bittu (Aparshakti Khurana) start finding Chitti. Jana (Abhishek Banerjee) also joins them at their request, and Stree (Shraddha Kapoor) returns to help them. What happens next?
