The Road is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language Thriller film scheduled to be released on October 6, 2023.
Trisha Krishnan plays the lead role in The Road. The film also features Dancing Rose Shabeer, Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, MS Bhaskar, Vivek Prasanna, Vela Ramamoorthy, Laxmi Priya, Semmalar Annam, Raatchasan Vinoth, Karupu Nambiyaar and many others.
Meera (Trisha), an ex-journalist, now a housewife, lives happily with her husband (Santhosh Pratap) and a six-seven-year-old son.
She becomes suspicious about unusual road accidents on NH 44. She tries to find out the reason behind it. As her quest increases, she finds herself in a web of lies and deceit.
Eventually, she finds herself in an extraordinary situation and decides to fight back and take revenge.
