Trishul (1978) is a Revendge Drama Bollywood Movie released on 5 May, 1978. The movie is produced by Gulshan Rai and directed by Yash Chopra. Trishul is written by the famous writers duo Salim Javed. Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjeev Kumar, Rakhee, Shashi Kapoor, Hema Malini and Prem Chopra played the lead role in the movie. Waheeda Rehman, Poonam Dhillon, Sachin Pilgaonkar and Iftekhar were in teh supported role. The movie was a big commercial success in the year 1978 and became the 2nd Highest Grosser Bollywood Movie of 1978 after muqaddar Ka Sikandar.
Movie Plot: Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) is illegitimate Son of R. K. Gupta (Sanjeev Kumar) who left his mother Shanti (Waheeda Rehman) when she was pregnant and married to Kamini (Gita Sidharth) daughter of a wealthy business.
