Upkar (1967) Movie Plot: Bharat (Manoj Kumar) works as a farmer and spends his everything for his Brother Puran (Prem Chopra) who studies abroad. Puran returns India with selfish motive and wants his share in the property. In the meantime Indo Pak war (1965) begins and Bharat becomes a part of it. After Bharat leaves Puran along with his greedy uncle Charandas (Madan Puri) starts illegal activities. Bharat returns from Indo–Pak war and sees his Brother’s evil act. However, he forgives him when police comes to arrest Puran. But things do not end here. Puran has lot of venom inside him and not even thinks for harming would be bride Kavita (Asha Parekh), a doctor who promotes family planning. |
