The movie was produced by N.R. Pachisia and directed by Guddu Dhanoa as his fourth directorial and first with Sunny Deo. Thereafter, he did collaboration with Sunny Deol in Salaakhen (1998), 23rd March 1931: Shaheed (2002), Jaal: The Trap (2003) and Big Brother (2007). Ziddi (1997) was remade in Tamil as Dharma (1998). It was also remade in Bangladesh as Shanto Keno Mastan (1998). An unofficial remake was also made in Kannada as One Man Army (1998) Ziddi (1997) starring Sunny Deol and Raveen Tandon in lead roles became a superhit by earning Rs. 32.43 Cr (Worldwide) against a budget of 7.5 Cr. and also became the sixth Highest Grossing Bollywood Movies of the year 1997 after Dil To Pagal Hai, Border, Ishq, Pardes and Gupt: The Hidden Truth. Ziddi (1997) Movie Plot:Deva (Sunny Deol) is a hot headed stubborn young man who can’t see injustice to anyone. His attitude is not tolerated by his Honest Advocate father Ashok Pradhan (Anupam Kher). However, his mother (Beena Banerjee), elder brother Akash (Sachin Khedekar) and Sister Guddi (Richa Ahuja) love him very much and try to save him from the wrath of their father. One day, someone teased his sister and Deva beats him badly and pull up his hand from his shoulders. He is arrested and sentenced for four years imprisonment. After returning from Jail his father stops him entering Deva in his house. Deva then starts his own Court “Deva Ki Adalat” where he punishes evil persons who suppress poor section of the society and soon becomes very rich and powerful. In the meantime he falls for a Club Dancer Jaya (Raveena Tandon) and takes care of her mother (Farida Jalal) who is a cancer patient. As the time grows Deva’s sister is married to ACP Inder Saxena (Ashish Vidhyarthi) who is brother of the same person whose hand was pull up by Deva. Further, Deva becomes threat for some big criminals named Lal Singh (Shahbaaz Khan), Khan (Sharat Saxena) and Jindal (Raj Babbar). They calls Akash and kills him by throwing him from height. Ziddi (1964) is a Musical Romantic Hindi Movie released on 3 January, 1964. The movie was produced and directed by Pramod Chakravorty. Ziddi (1964) became a Blockbuster by earning Rs. 3.5 Cror and also became the fourth Highest Grossing Bollywood Movies of the year 1964 after Sangam, Ayee Milan Ki Bela and Dosti. Ziddi (1964) has some memorable songs like evergreen Raat Ka Samaa and Teri Surat Se Nahi Milti Kisi ki Surat which were composed by S.D. Burman and penned by Hasrat Jaipuri. Ziddi (1964) Movie Plot: Ashok (Joy Mukherjee) sees a photograph of a rich and pretty girl Asha (Asha Parkeh) and he immediately falls for that innocent faced girl.
