Do Kaliyaan stars Biswajeet, Mala Sinha, Neetu Singh (Child Artist) in double role as Ganga and Sonia. Mehmood and Om Prakash also played pivotal roles in the movie. Music Director Ravi composed music for Do Kaliyaan and lyrics were authored by Sahir Ludhiyanvi. Song Tumhari Nazar Kyon Khafa Ho Gayee sung by Mohammed Rafi & Lata Mangeshkar and Another song Bachche Man Ke Sachche became very popular and still very popular.
Do Kaliyaan (1968) Movie Plot: Shekhar (Biswajeet), a middle class simple living person meets with a wealthy and stubborn girl Kiran (Mala Sinha). After initial quarrels they fall in love with each other.
Kiran’s timid father (Om Prakash) has no role to decide marriage of his daughter and Shekhar has to please Kiran’s Bossy Mom Kamla Devi (Nigar Sultana) and he successfully does so. After marriage Shekhar starts staying in Kiran’s house but he feels like a servant in the house. However, Kiran asks him to keep calm for some time.
After some time the couple is blessed with identical twin daughters Ganga and Jamuna. But situation remains the same and Shekhar still feels humiliated in the house and eventually he leaves the house with Ganga whereas Jamuna remains with Kiran.
Both the girls Ganga and Jamuna meets in their school and plans to bring their parents together. They replace their position and Jamuna starts living with her Father and Ganga goes to her Mother. Would they be able to bring their parents together?
